At Flagler County Baptist Church we offer a specialized ministry known as Patch the Pirate Club, which is designed for children aged 6 to 11. This program takes place every Wednesday evening during the school calendar year, starting at 6:30 PM. The primary focus of this club is to engage children in various activities that promote spiritual growth and biblical teachings.

Activities and Objectives

  1. Scripture Memorization: Children are encouraged to memorize scripture, which helps them internalize biblical teachings and principles.

  2. Learning New Songs: The program incorporates music, allowing children to learn new songs that often have spiritual or moral messages. This not only makes learning enjoyable but also reinforces their understanding of faith through music.

  3. Bible Preaching: Participants will hear preaching from the Bible, which serves to educate them about Christian values and stories from scripture.

The club aligns with the biblical verse Colossians 3:16, which emphasizes the importance of letting the word of Christ dwell richly within individuals and teaching one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. - Col 3:16
